I've been busy working on revisions to my latest proposal, so I just opened one of my photo files and picked some shots, pretty much at random. This was a trip to the Pacific Northwest. And once again, it's my day to blog over at Author Expressions, where I'm talking more about dealing with reading ARCs.

Beautiful. One of these days, I want to travel there. My sister has been, and I'm jealous - LOL.
Carol - that part of the world was our original retirement destination, but we ended up choosing Colorado. No regrets -- and we have relatives in Oregon we can visit when we want to see the PNW
Beautiful pictures, Terry. I would love to see that part of the country some day.
Gorgeous pictures! I feel like I really have taken a field trip (and I needed one today...)
That's the sort of amazing scenery I associate with the Pacific Northwest. Pictures are lovely and make me want to come see it in person.
That part of the country is gorgeous (and totally different from Florida, Wynter!)
Definitely worth a visit, all.
Great photo of the mushrooms. As a NW resident, I'd say the shrooms speak to me the most (not literally - at least not since I was much younger). The Orca pod in the San Juan Islands is slowly expanding - a big improvement! And the dramatic sunbreaks make a writer's life bearable!
Joyce, on that trip, we were constantly stopping for Hubster to photograph mushrooms. Everyone learned to look out for them. And the night we cruised, we saw every documented killer whale -- they were all on a mission. Glad they're growing.
You've made me homesick! (though if I'm guessing, that is Washington? The San Juan's maybe) But I love Oregon and I miss it a lot! Great pictures, Terry!
Hart - yes, It's Washington. I was too busy (or lazy) to caption the pictures with specific locations.
I loved visiting the PNW. These photos really take me back. If I had to leave PA, (knowing me, probably for nefarious reasons) I'd head straight for Oregon. Loved it the most.
Have a great weekend!
Definitely on my wishlist of places to travel - beautiful! :)
Ava - glad to trigger some memories.
Jemi - Make time for a trip out there. You'll love it.
Such beautiful photos. I think the waterfall is my favorite.

Thoughts in Progress
Mason - the picture doesn't show the hike required to get there -- that makes it all the more rewarding.
