Friday Field Trip - China

First - Happy July. My Buy 1 get 1 free sale ends on Monday, so check the Deals & Steals tab. Two books for 99 cents -- a $2.99 savings.

Also, please check out my interview at The Romance Studio.

Shortly after China opened its doors to tourism, my parents visited there. Here are some shots my mom sent. Enjoy.

Great pictures! I love the panda, especially. :)

Thanks, Elizabeth. These were all taken in the pre-digital age, so they're scans of "normal" pictures. Pandas are always a draw.

I love these - such a different landscape from our country. I especially love the panda :)

Beautiful. My folks visited there, too and loved it. The scenery is so different and the antiquity is startling.

Carol - these virtual trips let us get away, don't they.

Wynter - when my parents visited us in Orlando, we went to Epcot and they kept saying, "We saw the REAL thing" when we were in the China section.

My husband lived in Korea for a year. While he was there, he visited Japan. (I know these are wildly different from China.) Anyway, my point is he totally enjoyed it and says we *have* to visit the Asian continent sometime.

Catie - I've managed to get to Australia, but never Asia. Would love to get there someday.
