While I was busy going to panels, the Hubster was roaming the streets of Santa Fe (and hitting a lot of eateries). I'm sharing some of his photos today. And while he's here, it's my day at Author Expressions where I'm getting in the spirit of this first day of April.

Looks like such an interesting place!
Elizabeth - Santa Fe definitely has a unique flavor.
And that 'flavor' was the green chili cheeseburger at Bert's Burger Bowl.
Mom used to say the streets were laid out by a drunken Indian riding a drunken burro. The place was a lot more "real" forty years ago.
Suz - I believe your mom. Our GPS couldn't keep up with the turns when we were trying to find the hotels. And yes, "progress" isn't always for the better. I liked Old Town in Albuquerque.
Terry, I was born in ABQ, and spent may happy hours in Old Town!
Suz - one of our daughters lived in ABQ for several years, and Hubster had several meetings there. Having already accumulated plenty of pots and silver, I was able to skip the Santa Fe high-end stuff.
Lovely pictures. Liked the clown on the balloon. Were the twigs pussy willows? Looked a little like them.
Maryann, those were catkins from the aspen trees. Santa Fe is at a lower altitude than we are, and our aspens haven't progressed that far yet. We're eagerly awaiting them!
I love New Mexico. Love the architecture and the flavor!
Great photos. Looks like a great place to visit.
