What I'm reading: Welcome to Harmony by Jodi Thomas
I'm doing the clone thing a lot this week. Today, I'm over at Mystery Writing is Murder, Elizabeth Spann Craig's fantastic blog. I'm talking about doing your homework when you write.
Tuesday, July 20th, author Avery Aames will be hosting visitors here. You'll want to be here for that, because it's another foodie post! Yep, her new cozy mystery series features a cheese shop. Now, she had fun doing her homework. Rumor has it there might be recipes. While Avery is greeting readers here, for a change of pace, I'll be blogging at Naughty Author Chicks. When Nowhere to Hide was picked up for review by an erotic site, I got to thinking about the blurred lines between genres, and frequent blog commenter, Wynter Daniels offered me a slot. It's definitely an adult blog, but my post is barely PG-13, I'd say.
Wednesday, the 21st, I'm having my official on line release party. Mark your calendars, because it's going to be a day where commenters and followers can win prizes—lots of prizes. If you're not already a follower of Terry's Place, there's time to hook up. And Twitter followers will have extra chances to win as well. Follow me there or on Facebook: Links are on the "Contact" tab above.
On Friday, July 23rd, I'll be at The Romance Studio, and on August 5th, Patricia Stoltey has invited me to talk about how I became a writer by mistake.
I'm also starting a new monthly contest—my Swag Giveaway. It'll run until August 15th, and details are on my Contest tab above.
So, for the 'meat' of today's blog, get over to Mystery Writing is Murder. Leave a comment over here, over there—I'll be spending some time with family today, but will check in whenever I can.

Thoughts in Progress
Thanks, Mason - hope you can join me on my journey!
Okay, I just got up and now I need a nap after reading about your week.
Enjoy your journey and best ever with NOWHERE TO HIDE.
Giggles and Guns
Just reading about your week is making me tired!
You're obviously full of summer sizzle.
Hope it all goes well.
Heading over now. You're going to be busy!
Busy, yes, but at least I don't have to get in the car, or hop on a plane to do my traveling.
Jacqueline-where I used to live, summer was beyond sizzle. I rarely left the house. Up here, I have so much more energy!
Dang, you are busy! I'm jealous of your non-humid summer, lol :)
Katie- I SO do NOT miss the humidity.
Wow, you are a busy (in a good way) lady. So are you liking Colorado more so than Orlando? I am sure they both have great things going on.
Teresa
JW - Yes, I'm loving Colorado. The rural life has its challenges, but so far, I'm not missing Orlando. I miss the people I left behind, but not the traffic, the noise, the humidity. And I can get Mother's Circus Animal cookies here!
You're a busy lady! :) Great post on Elizabeth's blog!
Jemi - thanks. Glad you liked the post.
You and I are trying to take over the blogosphere! I think I'm "on the road" most of this week (virtually.)
Thanks for writing such a great guest post!
Elizabeth, the blogosphere better look out, then! Glad you liked the post. Thanks so much for having me.
Terry, I just finished WELCOME TO HARMONY, too. I loved it. I'll go visit you at the other blog now.
Heading down to the Springs. I'll try check in when we get back, but it'll be after dinner. Family in town and all that. :-)
Busy, busy! Don't worry about getting back. Enjoy the family.
I actually function better in the heat than in the cold but as the summer wears on, it gets a litte old, considering Florida summers are like six months long. That's a lot of heat and humidity.
Boy you have one busy schedule. Good luck and keep on dancing through the whole week!
You are on a roll Terry.
TerryS, Mary - thanks so much. And Terry-summer in Florida is more like 9 months. Sometimes 10.
You're a busy woman these days, Terry. I'll be looking forward to reading more of your guest spots.
