While I was at RomCon, Hubster went out and about. These pictures are some he took on his sojourn to the Cripple Creek/Victor area.

Terry: Always check in and enjoy your blog - tip: I can leave a comment here because it has an 'anonymous' identity, I can't seem to leave a comment on the other identities on some I'd like to comment on, so this helps us non-computer literate fans. LOL Cyber hugs, Jackie
Oh, this was heavenly. When I was a kid our family lived in Colorado Springs for three years. Our trips to Cripple Creek were one of the highlights. It was during the time that the Unsinkable Molly Brown was released so even more exciting...
Enjoyed the pictures, as always. The first shot if the log building reminded me of some old building in a fort near Omaha NE. Of course, I can't remember the name of the fort right now. LOL But I loved going out there and revisiting our past.
As you know, Terry, I am a native Cripple Creeker. I love to hear what other folks say about it. These are great photos of places I frequented as a boy - except for the sun flowers. Can't say exactly where those were so there's a chance I haven't been there.
In fact I included another Cripple Creek native in my mystery NO MORE BULL. Not a direct relative though. The jackass in the book has four legs.

Jackie - I try to make it as easy as possible for people to leave comments.
Jan - Cripple Creek & Victor aren't far from us (or we're not far from them!) Glad to bring you some memories.
Just gorgeous! I'd love to visit that part of the world one day! :)

Great pictures!!
Thanks all for stopping by.
John, according to the photographer, the flowers were on CR 1 across the road from the Four Mile Cemetery. He can't remember the name of the road.
We've been to Cripple Creek a few times, but haven't encountered any of the donkeys. Yet.
