I'm reading a Lee Child's book right now and remembering why I have always liked his character, Jack Reacher. He is a very unusual character, very flawed, but somewhat of a knight as well. Wonderful contrasts in character, and I think those contrasts make him memorable.Maryannwriteshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09479027709233807149noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30931389.post-91072228304720866822011-01-26T10:50:21.108-07:002011-01-26T10:50:21.108-07:00Hart - definitely. I want my female leads strong in their own right. (though if the female is TOO strong, i would love a male who could make her admit to a vulnerability.)--I think what I love is the ability to bring out something in the OTHER that they didn't know was there.Hart Johnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17599570189253229318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30931389.post-79943893806909904442011-01-26T09:05:52.091-07:002011-01-26T09:05:52.091-07:00Mario - Love Joe Pike. I have been in love with Jamie for a decade now I think. I always look forward to spending time with him and listening to him talk. That he is so irrevocably in love with his Sassenach just makes him more irresistible. I look forward to the few hours I get to steal with him and when I do he whispers in my ear, in his Scottish accent, "dinna be afraid, there's the two of us now" and I smile. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16110845846235948474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30931389.post-73385688538836587192011-01-26T08:29:33.574-07:002011-01-26T08:29:33.574-07:00Great post.
