And one of the side benefits from our experience was that the hubster now understands why I get so anal about making sure our house looks good when we have a showing. And why we have to keep it within an hour of perfection just in case.Terry Odellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11610682530545306687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30931389.post-13729323193878611592009-12-21T06:09:05.418-07:002009-12-21T06:09:05.418-07:00Excellent post, Terry! One had a bedroom that was a multi-dog room. It smelled like dog. I'm not sure you'd ever get the smell out of that room. Another, the family needed a couple of hours to clean before we arrived. We wondered what it looked like BEFORE we arrived, it was such a wreck when we got there. :)Terry Spearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14788961423817944896noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30931389.post-15249774079089176602009-12-17T15:14:46.305-07:002009-12-17T15:14:46.305-07:00Thanks, Eilis. I've never thought about the similarities between staging and querying, but you're so right.

Can you imagine not preparing your house for a showing? In THIS economy? And then you start thinking...wonder if they took care of their house or if there are all kinds of repairs that need to be done...

Elizabeth
Mystery Writing is MurderElizabeth Spann Craighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15625595247828274405noreply@blogger.com
